An Angel/Stephen King's The Stand Crossover

SUMMARY: The apocalypse seems to have arrived with Captain Trips, and two surviving members of AI find out how important they are to helping save what remains of mankind.

DISCLAIMER: I only wish I were as successful as Joss Whedon. He and Mutant Enemy own this; I just write fanfic for fun while waiting for my big break. Also, Stephen King owns most of the other characters and story on which this crossover is based. I’m just mixing things up to see what happens. Finally, the copyrights on all the lyrics used to introduce each movement are held by the artists and/or their respective music companies. AUTHOR’S NOTES: The Stand (both as a book and miniseries) has long been an all-time favorite of mine, and I’ve wanted to write a fic based on it for a while. Angel seemed the perfect crossover, especially with its apocalyptic themes, some of which mesh very well with The Stand. I’m sure there are other similar crossovers out there, but this one is solely my own. I’ve used a mix of The Stand book and the miniseries in the development of my timeline and the characters. Most of the events follow what was set in the miniseries, but I do use the book at points throughout. This fic begins after “Whole New World” in Angel’s third season and diverges from canon at that point with some tweaking to fit in with my timeline date-wise.
