Fred's POV:

A week. It's been a week since I've seen Wesley looking at me with eyes reflecting his love, not Jasmine's. A week that I have spent hiding and in fear. Avoiding the gaze of anyone who might have a link to Jasmine. On the run, through sewers and back roads, being chased by my friends, by the men I have loved and do love. I've cried every night because I was taken away from my family, not just because of Jasmine.

Wesley is proud of me though. I can tell by his look and smile. He is proud that I figured out that Jasmine's blood was the cure, and then Angel and I realized that Cordy's blood would work as well. Even though we separated him from Jasmine's connection, her love, and that hurts him, he is still impressed with how we figured it out.

We have to get out of the Hyperion. Leave it behind entirely and regroup elsewhere. Leave this place which has been our home for so long. Our clothes, Wesley's books, everything; so we can fight Jasmine elsewhere. We've each left it behind before, but at least this time we'll be together. I'll have Wesley's hand in mine, Charles watching our backs, Angel to fight for Connor and Cordy, and Lorne to keep our spirits up.

It will be hard for the others to adjust to not feeling Jasmine's connection. It will take time for them to deal with the loss of that much love. But together we can recreate that love, and it will be purer because it is real.

I'm not alone anymore. My boys are back. We're still going to be chased and have to fight, but I can do anything now. I have Wesley by my side and we have all the love we need.
