SUMMARY: While settling into their new home, Angel Investigations learn what happened to Sunnydale.

SPOILERS: All of Buffy and through Season 4 of Angel.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I originally intended to start posting this earlier, but medical issues got in the way. It's not complete yet, but I
thought I should at least start getting it up. Archive permission is granted as always to Whole New World and Blue Moon Rising.

The members of Angel Investigations had gathered for their daily lunch meeting which they held in a room overlooking the lobby of their new offices. The offices which had been given to them by a defeated Wolfram & Hart as they withdrew from the L.A. battlefield. The daily lunch had been Wesley and Winifred's idea, a way to keep in touch with each other and to observe their new employees. Today they had talked briefly about each of their departments, Wesley and Fred specifically focusing on their research of Cordelia's coma. Lorne's following discussion on the entertainment division's plan to reduce the number of reality shows on television was interrupted by Fred's science division manager, Knox, carrying a large file.

"Forgive me for interrupting, but I have a file that I think Miss Burkle should see right away." Knox spoke apologetically.

"That's fine, Knox." Wesley replied, passing the file to Fred. Knox left the room as Fred opened the file. Wesley leaned over her shoulder. "Geological variations?" he asked.

"Yes. Apparently there was an earthquake. A town sank." She read further. "Wesley, it was Sunnydale!"

"What?" he leaned closer, his arms surrounding her.

Charles Gunn chuckled from where he was standing at the window, overlooking the lobby. "I guess that explains them." He
pointed out the window.

Wesley, Fred and Lorne joined Gunn at the window. They looked down to see a group of about twenty people entering the lobby, led by a young blonde with a difficult expression to read. They stopped in the center of the room, looking around in wonder. Fred gasped, she had recognized two of the newcomers. Wesley turned to Lorne.

"Get Angel."

The elevator opened behind them. They turned to see Angel standing inside. "I know." He said. "Let's go."

They boarded the elevator and traveled to the lobby. Angel led them out and the full members of Angel Investigations met the complete Scooby Gang for the first time.
